Bruce Stanley is a South Florida activist and Kangen Water® distributor who has a passion for politics, graphic design, and technology. – A Rhode Island native and 19-year resident of Florida, he studied for a degree in computer animation at Full Sail University in Orlando from 2002 to 2004. After graduating, he moved to Miami and began taking on freelance graphic design and branding projects for various small business and non-profit clients. His entrepreneurial drive led him on a path to self-employment, and in 2007 he formally incorporated as nu design element, llc.

His activism began in 2005 when he co-founded Emerge Miami, a civic advocacy group which organized a series of local campaigns intended to improve civic engagement, from supporting bicycling advocacy while leading over 100 monthly community bike rides, supporting local businesses, and hosting countless educational events. His activism then expanded through work with environmental groups after statewide demonstrations against offshore oil drilling took place in response to the BP oil spill in 2010. That led to later collaborations with GMO Free Florida, which included organizing March Against Monsanto Miami for 5 years. He was also closely involved with the campaign to ban glyphosate-based herbicides, and has experience gathering signatures for voter registration and constitutional amendments.

During his time producing promotional materials for activist campaigns, he landed many opportunities to combine media skillsets with activism. In 2016 he produced “Rise Up Miami: A 2-Day Radical Film Fest”, which won Miami New Times’ Best Film Festival award.

He gained further political experience through work on several third-party and independent campaigns, including as a staffer on the Tim Canova for Congress campaign in 2016. He then honed his advocacy skills for the next 3 years by visiting the state capitol in Tallahassee for legislative session as part of a grassroots coalition lobbying in support of a statewide fracking ban. Frustrated by electoral corruption and routine lack of emphasis on the critical issues he encountered, he ran for Florida Governor in 2018 as an independent candidate. Currently he runs Stop 5G Florida, a grassroots organization that raises awareness about the dangers of 5G millimeter wave technology, and recently founded Floridians For Electoral Reform, a non-profit focused on educating voters about electoral issues.

To this day, Bruce uses his platform to continue questioning official narratives, and shifts between professional projects and advocacy work on causes he finds important. He promotes health and wellness through his Love Life Water brand, and blogs at BruceStanley.com.
